Machining of parts for the aeronautical sector

Machining of parts for the aeronautical sector

  • 08/02/2024

One of the main suppliers of machined parts for the aeronautical sector has commissioned ACCODE to evaluate all the production assets of its Seville plant, one of the three hubs of the aeronautical sector in Europe. The machining of parts for the aeronautical sector is the most demanding in terms of tolerances and, above all, material resistance, which is why forging or stamping operations are not permitted.

This combination of tight tolerances and the need to form parts by machining involves the use of sophisticated machining centres, both in terms of movements, part dimensions and construction quality. In addition, tempering furnaces are required to guarantee the internal structure of the materials. The project was carried out in two weeks with totally satisfactory results.
